What is a strong Moonkin dps?

I am an 80 Moonkin Druid and deal out about 2.5k in 5-mans and about 3k in raids. I do have two T-8 pieces and a T-7, but most of my other gear is ilevel 200, with some a couple of 213′s and a 245. I know when I started the druid I read numerous times that since druids are a hybrid they are not dominate in any role, but also not necessarily weak neither. I do do better in 5-mans with our Fire Mage who’s sits over 4500 GS(Gear Score), while I’m little over 4100. I try and tell him to spec as Arcane, but he already switched from Frost to Fire and didn’t want to switch again(another Mage in guild switched to Arcane and increased her dps from 2.2k to about 2.8k in 5-mans) Since I feel like I’m keeping up with one Mage and close to another, who both are better geared than me I must be playing a decent rotation.

I have been using my Druid more and more lately( I also have an 80 Paladin tank) and I’m wanting to start gearing him up for new raid and would like to know if I need to improve my playing style or just that I need better gear. Is my dps in line with Moonkin players at that gear level?
